LPD: $3,000 in cigarettes stolen from Stop and Shop
Police say 2 people broke into a convenience store on Sunday, stealing $3,000 worth of cigarettes

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- On April 18, around 3 a.m., Lincoln police were called to the Stop and Shop on South 16th Steet on the report of a burglary.
The manager of the store told LPD that she had received an alarm and when she arrived at the store, she found the front door glass had been shattered.
When officers reviewed the security footage, they reported seeing two individuals with their faces covered entered the store, steal multiple cartons of cigarettes valued at over $3,000, and then fled the scene.
Police say they are looking into the incident further to determine if it’s possibly related to a similar one that happened recently. This is an ongoing investigation, anyone with information is encouraged to call LPD at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
