Nebraska football’s Ochaun Mathis declares for NFL draft
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A big component of Nebraska’s defense is hoping to join the NFL.
Edge rusher Ochaun Mathis, who transferred to Nebraska after four seasons at TCU, declared for the draft on Friday.

Mathis ranked second on the team with 3.5 sacks, while also picking up five tackles for loss and two pass breakups.
He could have returned to Nebraska for one more season.
The Texas native joins teammates Caleb Tannor and Trey Palmer in next year’s NFL draft.
