Nebraska native Jordy Bahl and Oklahoma are the Women’s College World Series champions
LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – Nebraska native Jordy Bahl helped the Oklahoma Sooners win the Women’s College World Series for the sixth time in program history.
Bahl played high school softball at Papillion La-Vista High School, where she helped lead the team to three straight Class A state titles and now – in her rookie season as a Sooner – she is the National Freshman of the Year and a national champion.
Oklahoma defeated Texas 10-5 in Oklahoma City on Thursday night.
Bahl pitched four innings while giving up two total runs on four hits. She struck out two Longhorns.
