Overnight Storms, Dreary Monday
Severe Weather Potential:
While it has been quiet so far, the potential severe weather continues into Sunday evening and through the overnight hours. A Slight Risk (Level 2 out of 5) is in place for southeast Nebraska, which means scattered severe storms will be possible.

Storms during the overnight hours will be capable of producing an isolated tornado or two, 2+ inch hail, and up to 65-mile-per-hour wind gusts. Check now to make sure you have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts while you are asleep.
A few areas may see multiple rounds of heavy rainfall, which could result in localized flooding. A Flood Watch is in place for far southeast Nebraska.

Forecast:
Outside of our storm chances, lows tonight will fall to the upper 40s and lower-to-middle 50s.
Mostly cloudy skies tonight in Lincoln are joined by a few showers and thunderstorms, with the potential to be severe.
Highs on Monday afternoon will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s, which is, for once, below average.
Storm chances wrap up in the morning for Lincoln, followed by lingering showers into Monday afternoon.
A few showers are possible on Tuesday ahead of what looks to be a very quiet close to April. Temperatures continue in the 60s before warming into the 70s by next weekend.
