LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Here are six of the top football games in the Lincoln area on Friday night.

Lincoln Southeast 31, Lincoln North Star 10: In Channel 8’s Game of the Week, running Max Buettenback scored twice for the Knights in the first quarter, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Waverly 42, Norris 0: The Vikings raided Firth and went home with a valuable prize: another shutout win in their 3-1 season.

Grand Island 27, Lincoln High 14: The game was tied at halftime, but Grand Island prevailed with a dominant run game and special teams.

Wilber-Clatonia 28, Fillmore Central 21: Fillmore Central had a chance at a comeback in an action-packed fourth quarter, but a blocked field goal set up Wilber-Clatonia for a touchdown.

Bennington 35, Pius X 0: Home-field advantage wasn’t much help for the Thunderbolts in the first-ever matchup between these teams.

Tri-County 24, David City 21: The Trojans didn’t score until just before halftime, and they needed every second of the second half to overtake the Scouts.
