* WHAT...Temperatures of between 95 to 102 degrees with heat index
values of between 100 to 106 degrees expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and east central and south
central Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 1 PM to 10 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight temperatures Sunday night will not
be expected to drop below the low to mid 70s. A few locations
outside of the Advisory will still see temperatures as high as 95
to 102 degrees with heat index values up to 102 degrees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight heat indices in the mid-70s and
lower-80s will make it difficult for homes without air conditioning
to cool down. Hot weather is expected to persist through the week.
