LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln police arrested after a man yelled profanities and threats towards a woman protesting outside of Planned Parenthood.

A 59-year-old woman told police she had been standing on a sidewalk contacting individuals entering and exiting the Planned Parenthood clinic at 5631 S 48th Street.

The woman contacted 44-year-old Anthony Ladd while he was walking to his vehicle nearby. According to LPD, Ladd began to yell profanities at the woman.

Ladd then went to his vehicle and grabbed a 28.5-inch piece of rebar and went back to the woman. Ladd continually yelled profanities and threats at the woman with the piece of rebar in his hands but did not strike her during the confrontation.

Eventually, Ladd returned to his vehicle, struck his vehicle with the rebar, then left the area. Officers found Ladd nearby and recovered the rebar from his vehicle.

Lincoln police arrested Ladd for terroristic threats.
