LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two men were arrested Thursday after surveillance footage showed them stealing game cameras, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says.

Around 8:45 a.m., the owner of a house near 112th Street and Old Cheney Road saw two men stealing one of his game cameras through another camera.

The suspects left after taking the two-game cameras, the sheriff’s office says.

Deputies were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle and got a partial plate number from the surveillance footage.

The information led them to a house near 56th and Hartley Streets, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies then obtained a search warrant for the unattached garage and found 11 grams of meth, the sheriff’s office says.

Jeffrey Smith, 41, and Benjamin Buresh, 36, were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of burglar’s tools.

Deputies eventually found the two stolen game cameras inside Buresh’s vehicle.
