Three injured in T-bone crash in Waverly

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a T-bone crash in Waverly.

The crash happened around 8:20 a.m. near North 141st Street and Waverly Road.

A Nebraska State Patrol trooper said a vehicle was stopped at the intersection, but the driver didn’t look both ways.

That vehicle was then T-boned by a southbound SUV, according to the trooper.

Three people were taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash shut down the intersection as emergency crews responded to the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
