Man arrested in west Lincoln stabbing

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested after a stabbing in west Lincoln on Saturday, police say.

Reynaldo Castillo was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

The stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. near First and M streets.

Police said officers found the victim, a 39-year-old man, with stab wounds to his arm and leg.

He was taken to a hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
