No 7 Nebraska Basketball Remains Undefeated With Win Over Minnesota

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The No. 7-ranked Nebraska basketball team kept its undefeated season alive on Saturday, beating Minnesota 76-57 at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

The Huskers kicked it into high gear in the second half, outscoring the Gophers 46-21 after trailing by 6 at the break.

As a team, Nebraska shot 48% from the floor and 32% from beyond the arc, while Minnesota shot 40% and 29% from deep.

The Huskers led the Gophers in nearly every significant statistical category, including rebounds (39 to 31) and assists (24 to 19).

Pryce Sandfort led NU with 22 points on 7-for-14 shooting. He also pulled in a team-high 10 rebounds to log his first double-double of the season.

Jamarques Lawrence and Sam Hoiberg each had 14 points, while Hoiberg dished out a team-high seven assists.

Nebraska will continue its road trip to Ann Arbor to take on No. 3 Michigan on Tuesday.

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on Peacock.
