Husker radio legend Kent Pavelka featured as bobblehead

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is taking advantage of a Nebraska NCAA Tournament run.
The organization unveilled a Kent Pavelka bobblehead figure on Wednesday.
The longtime voice of Husker men’s basketball called his first NCAA Tournament wins last week after more than 40 years behind the mic.
His radio calls have now gone viral.
In a press release, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum said the figure will also talk and feature several of Kent’s catchphrases.
“We’re excited to unveil the first bobblehead of popular Nebraska radio announcer Kent Pavelka, who has been calling Husker games since 1974,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “With Nebraska advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history, Kent’s game-winning call is the perfect example of what March Madness is all about. This bobblehead will be a must-have for Husker fans everywhere!”
The bobblehead is now available to purchase and will be shipped out in September.
