Police arrest suspect responsible for six burglaries in Lincoln since March

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department has arrested the person responsible for six different burglaries in Lincoln between March 25 and May 13.
On Friday, 34-year-old Clarence Wilson was arrested after police searched his home, finding items from all six burglaries in his home and garage.

During all of the burglaries, police said Wilson used a large rock or piece of concrete to smash a glass door or window.
Police said he then entered the businesses and stole safes, jewelry, cash, sex toys, sports cards, Pokemon cards and other memorabilia.

LPD said the total loss from all six burglaries is estimated at $30,800.89. The total estimated damage for the six incidents is $8,100.
Wilson was taken to the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of six counts of burglary:
- Romantix, 3247 S. 10th Street (May 13)
- Rosari’s Kitchen, 2600 O Street (April 20)
- Capital City Sports Cards, 5600 S. 59th Street (April 15)
- Romantix, 3247 S. 10th Street (April 15)
- Variedades El Quentzal, 930 S. 13th Street (April 12)
- Lobo City Mex, 340 N. 27th Street (March 25)
