Husker volleyball announces lottery giving fans a possible chance to purchase home game tickets

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska volleyball has created a lottery for fans to purchase single-match tickets. Because tickets sell out so quickly, University of Nebraska-Lincoln wanted to make sure fans got the chance to see their volleyball team play.

According to UNL, 300 extra tickets have been added for all home matches.

The lottery system lets one person purchase two tickets for $26 plus fees. Each fan is allowed one application for the chance to go to a home game.

The time to submit an application runs from today to Aug. 11 at 5 p.m.

Winners will be notified through their email on Aug. 20.
