Multi-car crash on 27th and South streets leaves two cars totaled

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —Lincoln Police Department (LPD) responded to a crash occurring at 27th and South streets. Officers arrived around 10 a.m.
According to the crash report, the investigators determined that a Nissan Rogue was stopped at a traffic light going eastbound on South Street before the light turned green. When the Nissan proceeded into the intersection, a Cadillac ATS collided with the Nissan. When they collided, the Cadillac hit a Chevrolet Silverado which was parked.
The Nissan and Cadillac were totaled.
The driver of the Cadillac was contacted at the emergency room and stated he did not remember what occurred before, during or after the accident.
According to the investigator, a witness stated that the Cadillac was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound.
