Officers respond to swatting call at Seward High School and find no threat

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) — The Seward Police Department (SPD) responded to a swatting call at Seward High School at 11:49 a.m. today.

Students and staff that were impacted by the threat were moved to a more secure location within the school.

As SPD officers investigated, they determined there was no threat and cleared the area.

The school was given the all clear around 12:05 p.m. and resumed normal operations according to SPD.

The investigation is ongoing.
