Nebraska Secretary of State certifies two new political parties

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Secretary of State Bob Evnen has announced the certification of two new political parties.

Nebraska Working People Party and the America First Party are now both established political parties in Nebraska.

Nebraska voters can now register with the new political parties beginning today.

Both parties may also nominate candidates for the upcoming election by submitting petition signatures by Sept. 1.
