Lincoln police urge residents to be safe during Halloween

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is urging residents to be safe during Halloween.

LPD said Halloween trick-or-treaters should plan their route, have a trusted adult for children and avoid anyone house that gives them the “creeps.”

They gave tips on costumes, saying carrying a flashlight or wearing something reflective will help to be seen or see.
