Grand Island Police investigating fatal shooting

The Grand Island Police are currently investigating the death that happened Thursday morning.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) – Grand Island Police are investigating a Thursday morning fatal shooting at 2802 LaMar Ave.

Police responded to a shooting Thursday morning, inside the residence police found 28-year-old Tesloach Kek Yiel with apparent gunshot wounds.

The Hall County Attorney’s Office ordered an autopsy for the victim at the Douglas County Coroner’s Office in Omaha.

Police ask residents with home security cameras or doorbell cameras in the area of the shooting to call GIPD to assist with the investigation.
