POLL: Too cold for Temperature Tuesday?

winter weather

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Overnight, temperatures reached below -20ºs. This is the coldest night Lincoln has seen in 38 years.

As residents wake up to this brutal chill, questions are now running through their minds.

Will my pipes freeze? Will my power go out? How do I protect my pets?

But, for Midwesterners, there is a bright side to cold weather: Runza’s Temperature Tuesday.

During January and February, every Tuesday the temperature outside is the price of an original Runza sandwich (anything below zero is free with purchase of fries and a drink).

But- dare I say- is it too cold to venture out for Temperature Tuesday?
