Schaefer's 63rd Anniversary HDTV Giveaway Contest Rules

-No purchase necessary.
-Void where prohibited by law.
-Must be 19 years or older and a legal U. S. resident to play with valid state issued
  identification to claim prize(s)
-Must live within the Channel 8 KLKN-TV viewing area as determined by the station.
-Winners of weekly and/or grand prizes during Channel 8 KLKN-TV contests within the 
  last year are not eligible to enter and are not eligible to win. 
-Promotion runs April 20, 2009-May 24, 2009.

To enter: 
Log onto www.klkntv.com and click on the contest icon to access the online entry form.  Entries must include; name, address, day phone, evening phone and email address.  You may also register at Schaefer's TV and Appliance during normal business hours. 

Prizes:
Weekly Winners
There will be one winner during each of the contest periods. Each weekly winner will receive 88 Instant Scratch Lottery Tickets from the Nebraska Lottery, a DVD set of Eli Stone episodes(season one) and a DVD set of Samantha Who? episodes(season one).
Grand Prize Winners
There will be one grand prize winner.  The grand prize winner will receive LG 42″ Plasma HD television from Schaefer's TV & Appliance, valued at $1,000 and 488 Instant Scratch lottery tickets from the Nebraska Lottery.

Random Drawings and Contest Dates:
Weekly Drawings-One winner will be chosen by a random drawing of all valid entries received during each of the 5 weekly contest periods.  Week one contest period is April 20 through April 26, week two contest period is April 27 through May 3, week three contest period is May 4 through May 10, week four contest period is May 11 through May 17 and week five contest period is May 18 through May 24.  The deadline for each period is midnight on the last day of each period.  The drawings will be held on the Monday following the end of each weekly contest period and announced on the Channel 8 Eyewitness News at Ten.
Grand Prize Drawing-One name will be chosen by a random drawing of all eligible entries received during the entire contest period of April 20 though May 24 to win an LG 42″ HDTV.  The deadline for entries is midnight on May 24.  The drawing will take place on May 25 and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 27 during the Channel 8 Eyewitness News

– Winners will be notified by a member of the Channel 8 KLKN-TV staff by telephone and/or
  email.

Limitations
– Only one entry per unique email address will be eligible for the each weekly drawing.  Each weekly entry will also be eligible for the grand prize drawing.  There is a maximum of 5 possible entries for each contest participant; one each week.
– Only one winner per household will be allowed during the Promotion. 
– Employees or families of Channel 8 KLKN-TV, Schaefer's TV and Appliance, Nebraska Lottery., and/or their divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries or their advertising/promotion agencies are not eligible to win.
– Winners MUST present a valid drivers license or state issued ID to claim their prize. No prize will be awarded without proper identification.
– All other costs associated with accepting, redeeming and using prize, include local, state and federal taxes is the responsibility of the winner.
-Grand Prize winner will receive a Federal Tax Form 1099 upon accepting the prize.
– Channel 8 KLKN-TV and Schaefer's TV and Appliance are not responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable technical issues that may affect the registration process and reserves the right to reject a claim to a prize based on contest irregularities.
– Channel 8 KLKN-TV and Schaefer's TV and Appliance are not responsible for misuse of prizes, and will not accept liability if a prize is misused in any manner.|
-Prizes must be claimed within 45 days of the end of the promotion.
– All decisions by our judges are final.
-Entrants must reside within the Channel 8 KLKN-TV DMA, as defined by The Nielsen Company.
-Odds of winning any prizes depend upon the number of entries received.  Example: if 2000 entries are received then the entrant has a one in two thousand chance of winning. 
-No substitutions unless agreed upon by the sponsor and prizes are not redeemable for cash.
