In the post, Barnes pointed to the program’s coaching changes as the reason why he opened up his recruitment.
On Nov. 26, Nebraska announced the hiring of Matt Rhule as the next head coach.

With that hiring comes a whole new staff, which includes new offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield.
Former interim head coach Mickey Joseph’s future with the program is also unknown, as court documents allege that he tried to strangle a woman on Wednesday.
Barnes made his commitment to Nebraska back on Nov. 1. Prior to the commitment, he had offers from Iowa, Tulane and Idaho.
