LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Wichita State pitcher Jace Kaminska is taking his talents to Nebraska, Husker247 reports.

Before entering the transfer portal, the Kansas native spent his first two seasons as a Shocker, earning himself multiple awards as a freshman.

In 2021, Kaminska was the American Athletic Conference Newcomer Pitcher of the Year and All-Conference First Team honoree.

He also ended the season 8-1, with two complete games and a 2.32 ERA.

Kaminska’s 2022 season was less exciting, with a 3-9 record and a 5.49 ERA.  The team struggled overall and ended with a 21-36 record.
