Channel 8 Eyewitness News Weather Rain Gauge Give Away Winners

Thank you to all who entered the Channel 8 Eyewitness News Rain Gauge Giveaway.  The official rainfall at the Lincoln airport for the period of June 1 – June 10, 2009 is 3 inches.  Channel 8 Eyewitness News and Glenn's Tru-Value Hardware are happy to announce the 20 winners. 

Congratulations to Pam Hill of Lincoln, who guessed the exact rainfall total of 3″.  The next closest 19 guesses ranged from 2.5-3.5 inches.  There was a random drawing of all of the guesses of 2.5 and 3.5 to determine the final 5 winners.

Winners may pick up their prize at Channel 8 KLKN-TV between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.  Winners must present a state issued photo ID with the address matching the address on the entry. 

The LED technology lights up the water column and numbers from bottom for night viewing.  The EZ READ rain gauge has bright markings, a high visibility float, water magnification, DebrisGuard TM Funnel to prevent debris from entering and it works with any infrared remote   Three LEDs illuminate tube from inside and out.  It easily mounts in ground or on fence and comes with a rust resistant bracket.
