After a pursuit on Interstate 80, Sorensen pulled into the parking lot of an apartment complex on 180th and Harrison streets.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, Sorensen rammed into three patrol cars, a garage and a retaining wall while trying to flee.

He then drove his vehicle directly toward two troopers while they fired shots at him, according to the patrol.

Sorensen was not struck and drove a short distance before crashing into multiple vehicles, disabling the car.

Troopers used a taser on Sorensen and he was taken into custody. Nobody was injured on the scene.

After Sorensen was arrested, troopers determined the vehicle he was driving was stolen.
