LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The 2025 NFL Draft came to a close Saturday, and numerous players who didn’t hear their name called are signing undrafted free agent deals.

Plenty of former Huskers are following this path: John Bullock, Nash Hutmacher, Isaac Gifford, Isaiah Neyor, Ben Scott and Jahmal Banks.

Bullock was the first Husker to ink a UDFA deal, signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night.

The Omaha native started all 13 games in 2024, setting career-highs with 70 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four sacks and an interception.

That production earned Bullock All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors.

Bullock ranked third on the team in total tackles and tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles.

The Creighton Prep product will join former Husker Lavonte David in the linebacker room in Tampa Bay.

Nash Hutmacher was the next former Blackshirt to sign a UDFA deal, joining the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.

In 2024, Hutmacher tallied 24 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks, earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors for the second-straight season.

The Oacoma, South Dakota, native was a staple on Nebraska’s defensive line alongside Ty Robinson, who was drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round.

The final former Blackshirt to sign a UDFA deal was Isaac Gifford, who is headed to Charlotte to join the Carolina Panthers.

Gifford led Nebraska with 73 tackles, while adding four tackles for loss and one pass breakup in 13 starts.

The Lincoln native ended his career at Nebraska with 240 tackles, which marks the third-highest by a defensive back in school history.

He also played in 57 games throughout his career, the third-highest in program history.

On the offensive side of the ball, Isaiah Neyor inked a UFDA deal with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Neyor transferred to Nebraska from Texas in 2024, playing in 12 games as a Husker. The Fort Worth native racked up 455 receiving yards on 34 catches with five touchdowns.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed another former Husker on Sunday, inking a UDFA deal with offensive lineman Ben Scott.

Scott transferred to Nebraska from Arizona State in 2023, playing in all 25 games as a Husker.

The Honolulu, Hawaii, native anchored Nebraska’s offensive line at the center position, earning All-Big Ten honorable mention honors in consecutive seasons.

Jahmal Banks is the most recent former Husker to ink a UDFA deal, signing with the Baltimore Ravens.

Banks played in 13 games with 10 starts in his lone season at Nebraska after transferring from Wake Forest.

The Washington D.C. native led the Huskers with 587 receiving yards, and ranked second on the team with 44 catches and three touchdowns.

Former Nebraska cornerback Tommi Hill has yet to sign a deal with an NFL team.

In 2024, Hill battled a foot injury for a bulk of the season, only playing in seven games with five starts.

He recorded 21 tackles and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown against Colorado.

It is unclear why Hill has yet to sign with a team, as he was a highly-touted draft prospect to start the season.

Hill was suspended at Arizona State for getting into a fight with a teammate in practice, and was also suspended at Nebraska to “address off-field issues.”
