Coolest St. Patrick’s Day in three years
A weather system will pass to the south of Nebraska over the next 24 hours bring with it more clouds and even a chance for rain showers.
Scattered showers will stay confined to southeast of a line from Omaha to Lincoln to Hebron Wednesday afternoon. Winds will also increase, especially during the afternoon, gusting 35 to 40 mph. Highest gusts will likely occur close to the Nebraska/Kansas state line.
Temperatures will be cool. In fact, this looks to be the coolest St. Patrick’s Day in three years for the state capital.
TONIGHT: Overcast skies. Light drizzle possible. Lows will be in the middle to upper 30°s.
WEDNESDAY: Overcast skies. Scattered showers, mainly southeast. Highs will be in the lower to middle 40°s. Winds will be gusting out of the north at 35 to 40 mph.
THURSDAY: Dry weather! Decreasing clouds with sunshine by afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40°s to lower 50°s.
