- The majority of consumers (37%) chose condiments (ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise) as their favorite cheeseburger topping. Tomatoes came in second place (13%) and bacon in third (12%)
- Five Guys is the favorite cheeseburger chain (25%) according to consumers. Wendy’s follows closely behind (21%) and third place goes to McDonald’s (20%)
- The majority of consumers (56%) spend between $1-$20 on cheeseburgers in a month. What’s interesting about this data is that while 24% don’t spend any money on cheeseburgers, 3% admitted to spending over $81.

Fuddruckers: On Sept. 18, try the 3-Pound Burger Challenge. Finish your 3-pound burger and 1 pound of fries in an hour, and you will get a $25 gift card. Reservations and 24-notice required. See details.
