Rain totals up to 0.50″-1.50″+ through Friday night. Don’t worry, western Nebraska gets their rain this weekend!
SATURDAY
A storm system will develop out west Saturday afternoon. Large hail & a few brief tornadoes will be possible. By Saturday evening and night, storms move east making a DAMAGING WIND threat. 11pm Saturday-3am Sunday: Saturday night, storms for a bow, which indicates a strong wind threat. Storms will lose strength the farther east they move, meaning STRONG WINDS will be the main concern Saturday night. Stay tuned for the latest.
Thursday brings spotty rain/storm chances along and south of I-80. Friday brings rain/storm chances in the morning & late afternoon hours across eastern, NE. Saturday-Sunday, we could see some MARGINAL severe weather across the state, as a potent system from the west will bring several chances for rain/storms through May 31. The 1st week of June looks hot and wet.
